Natural Gas Grill Burner Help?

Posted by admin
cbroadfield33 asked:

I finally was able to purchase a new H burner online for my old Roper natural gas grill. It fits perfectly but I am noticing something that never happened before. I get a nice blue flame but after 5 minutes the tips of the burner begin to glow orange. What could be causing this?
It’s the metal thats turning orange. The place I bought it from says thats normal. It has never happened to any of the others I have had.
