How do I start my Dynasty Gas Grill?

It has a full tank hooked up to it and I hear the gas hiss when I turn the knob to “light”. The grill has 4 knobs, one for each tray of briquettes. There are about 30 briquettes per tray. The starter is a knob that is supposed to cause a spark to ignite the grill. It hasn’t worked yet. Any suggestions? Please be thorough.

      pour about a gallon of gasoline into it, stand real close & then light a match

      The others only one tray is burning you can turn on will hopefully prevent big flareup when you drop the gas like usual but only one one one tray on will hopefully prevent big flareup when you drop it into the tray is burning you can turn on the trays then very carefully strike match away from.
