How do I dispose of a propane tank from a gas grill?

I’ve gotten rid of my gas grill and I still have the tank left. I don’t want to exchange it, I just want to get rid of it.

      Take it to a propane supplier - if it’s in decent condition they’d probably be willing to take it and add to their inventory.
