Gas grill or charcoal?

Posted by admin
cope_acetic asked:

I am a purist and only use charcoal. I feel a gas grill imparts no flavor–it’s like an outside stove! This is a big issue among my friends & family, so which do YOU like?

Charcoal, but I always add something like hickory or cherry wood to enhance the flavor.

I hate charcoal. I’d rather use a gas grill because of it’s ease of use and if you want more flavor get a smoker box and fill it with hickory or mesquite chips. I’ve been known to just use hickory wood in a charcoal grill with excellent results. Charcoal is garbage.
