Do I need to turn off the natural gas to my grill when I’m done using it?

I just bought a natural gas grill, and I need to know if I need to turn the natural gas supply on and off to the grill each time I use it, or if I can leave the gas supply open.

I would say you need to turn it off and on as needed because you never know if suddenly you can have a gas leak.

    5. Sci Nerd Says:

Yes, what about leaks, sparks, fumes, and fire. All possible with natural gas, if it wasn’t flammable you wouldn’t be able to grill.

I always turn mine off after I finish using it. It is dangerous to leave the gas going into the Grill when you are not using it. A child could turn the Burner on and something catch Fire or even worse get Burnt, not to mention just being dangerous.
