Weber Q 300 Barbeque Grill

Jim Stevens asked:

The popularity of the Weber Gas Grill started with the original Q. The super-sized model is produced more for the individual who has minimal space than an individual who needs to carry the grill. At all of 83 pounds, this grill isn’t for taking on picnics. However, the grill does provide one with cooking abilities that are indirect and about the same space as a traditional, Small Gas Grill. The grill provides authentic grilling in a barbeque unit that’s easily stored and does not take up much space.

When the Q portable gas grill was introduced by Weber, they discovered that many people didn’t take the grill to the beach, but kept it on their patio. This grill was ideal for urban dwellers that did not have a yard in the back, but still had a need to barbecue. In the year 2006, Weber introduced the model Q 300. The two-burner, larger gas grill comes standard with the optional stand. The gas grill unit comes with a standard regulator and hose to hook to a 20-pound unit. The Weber Q 300 at 21,700 BTUs can go through the disposable, one-pound bottles quite fast.

The Weber Q 300 is not quite portable, but the grill is an ideal compromise between a vast full-feature barbeque grill and a portable that’s more traditional. This can make it ideal for the apartment dwellers. The design with two burners offers opportunities for indirect cooking. One burner normally runs around the grilling area edges, while another goes right down the middle. This can give the barbeque grill necessary power to heat 393 square inches of a barbeque area hot enough to cook and grill steaks, while offering you plenty more grilling versatility.

For the cost, the design of this Weber model is quite good. The conservative design is a model of practicality, as the barbeque grill does not rely on plenty of extras. This is a grill of a basic unit, which is ideal for someone who desires to barbecue items in a small area. To find out more information about quality gas grills visit: www.ibuybarbeques.com.

Is it possible to smoke food with a LP gas grill?

Wednesday, August 5th, 2009
crao_craz asked:

I’m getting conflicting information. I just visited a store and the advertising and instruction manuals there made no mention of smoking, although they talked about a lot of other cooking methods. Do you have experience with LP gas grills and if you know how to smoke food with one, how do you do it?
By “smoke,” I mean with wood smoke.
