luckycharmz_70 asked: Ok, I know I can use charcoal in a gas grill as long as you disconnect the gas and all but my question is can I use the flavored BBQ chips for flavoring the meat..? You know what I mean the ones that are hickory chips and such! I want to add these over the charcoal..Will it give me the effect I am looking for?

Lars asked: No matter what I have tried, I cannot get the grill hot enough to sear a steak. Preheating does not do it. It is an older Ducane, but the regulator tests OK and I have replaced the burners. Is this typical for this make (Ducane), as it is wonderful for rotisserie and chicken and foods that cook over a lower heat. Or is it broken and there is something (else) I need to replace? Or is this just the way it is with gas grills and I just need to go back to charcoal?

nike47 asked: we recently have put a gas grill outside our apartment. We put the grill outside in our courtyard in the mulch. We put it just about underneath our window. We have gotten a notice to remove the grill and to put in on the other side of the apartment buildings which is very inconvenient. The ground is not level, there is more foot traffic and there is no grass just pavement. It is basically 10 times better on the courtyard side. Do our angry neighbors have a legit case here or are they just being ass*****. Is there a way to shut these neighbors up with some law saying that this is ok. It seems like our neighbors have nothing better to do than to complain about ridiculous things. Any information would be great.

favour30 asked: This is a backyard gas grill. Even when reduced to the lowest level of heat, it still burns before the meat or poultry is cooked. It did not come with lava rocks or anything. Is there a plate I can use to control the heat or should I get the stone briquette whatever that is. I need help please.

Lord Minion asked: I have a gass grill and Im not getting enough pressure. I replaced the fuel tank and cleaned the fuel lines with a small needle. I can feal the gas coming out of the lines but when I hook everything back up I can only get good pressure from just one burner at a time and it only lasts for a few seconds. If I turn on a second burner than the first almost totaly dies out. Any suggestions would be nice. Maybe the tank I just got has fuel but not enough pressure?
