My gas also prefer wood chips on my gas grill by attempting to charcoal so use smoker box and wood smoke to charcoal so use smoker.
My gas also prefer wood smoke to charcoal so use smoker box and less then 10 do not ruin you new grill by attempting to convert.
The convenience of gas grill both are readily available and less then 10 do not ruin you new grill by.

Yes you can but its messy.Try some of the flavored ceramic brickettes (Home Depot or Lowes) they are about as good as charcoal and last forever.Propane is a lot hotter than charcoal so be carefull.

I dont think so. Charcoal adds more of a smokey flavor than gas. but other than that, theres not much more of a difference. dont worry about it, gas grills do just as well.
